Raised in Napa, I’ve always been curious about the buzz that makes this valley churn. To fulfill my curiosity, I attended University of California- Davis where I received my degree in Viticulture and Enology. A dual degree in both winemaking and grape growing (and a minor in Economics) afforded me a little flexibility to branch in to any area of the wine industry. Immediately after graduating, I was hired by the Far Niente family of wineries for internal vineyard management, grower relations, and vineyard development, eventually becoming Vineyard Manager.
After leaving Far Niente, I joined Mason Cellars to assist Randy in their day-to-day operations of winemaking and sales, as well as helping Megan with some marketing and public relations tasks. In short, I get to satisfy my inquisitive nature with whatever my heart desires (almost). Be it social media, vineyard sampling, harvest duties, sales trips and tastings- I’m constantly evolving as a wine enthusiast.
When not occupied with Mason responsibilities, I’m often found in the garden, on the golf course, supporting my World Champion SF Giants, or indulging in one of the many world class wine county restaurants.
