Megan is a driving force behind the Mason Cellars Collection of wines. A Bay Area native with a background in hotel sales and marketing, Megan spent decades working with Randy to produce and bring to market a diverse array of wine offerings from nearby grape-growing regions. Her creative eye has been invaluable in our marketing and designing our downtown Napa tasting room.
Randy has been producing wine in Napa Valley for 40+ years. UC Davis grad and lifetime Bay Area resident, he was a pioneer for California Sauvignon Blanc and is recognized as one of the best producers in the country. He founded Mason Cellars in Oakville in 1993 with his wife, Megan, and continues to lead our family-owned business, creating, and overseeing production of our wines.
Grant grew up in Northern California and was always fascinated by Napa Valley. This attraction drove him to get a degree in Viticulture & Enology at UC Davis. He landed his first job with Far Niente, eventually becoming Vineyard Manager. Today, Grant works alongside the Masons, managing winemaking operations, grower relations, sales, and company direction.
Laura makes Mason Cellars tick. She is a Napa native who has managed our day-to-day operations regarding sales and compliance for more than a decade. Over time, her house palate has shifted from favoring our Three Pears Pinot Grigio to our Pomelo Sauvignon Blanc. Laura’s devotion to her work and family is only surpassed by her love of dogs and the San Francisco Giants.
